Some services at Cocoon require a patch test to ensure the product performs correctly and will not cause you to have a reaction. We also recommend a patch test if you have had a new recent medical condition. If in doubt please check with reception or your stylist/therapist.
HAIR PATCH TEST REQUIREMENTS
Hair colour services require a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment. You must have a new patch test if you have used any colour on your hair outside of Cocoon (i.e. another salon or at home hair colour) or if you have not had a colour service at Cocoon for 6 months.

BEAUTY PATCH TEST REQUIREMENTS
Eyelash/Brow Tint, Eyelash Extensions – These services require a patch test at least 24 hours before your service. You must have a new patch test if you have not had this service at Cocoon within the past 6 months.
LVL Lashes – These services require a patch test at least 48 hours before your service. You must have a new patch test if you have not had this service at Cocoon within the past 6 months.
Eyelash Perm – Requires a patch test at least 24 hours before your service. You must have a new patch test if you have not had this service at Cocoon within the past 6 months.
Peel Treatments – These require a consultation at least 48 hours prior to your appointment, a therapist will advise if a patch test is required

CONSULTATIONS
Consultations are required (and can be booked in advance) for Balayage, Hair Extensions and Perms. We recommend a colour consultation for any colour service where you are unsure as to what you require or where you want a radical change or colour correction. This will allow us to ensure our stylists can meet your expectations.
