Owner
Lisa has over 20 years experience in the Hair and Beauty industry, previously working for some of the sectors biggest brands. A trained Beauty Therapist Lisa has a particular interest in client care and customer satisfaction. Lisa, along with her business partner Andy, opened Cocoon in November 2009 to compliment their already successful online business. Lisa is committed to ensuring Cocoon provides the highest quality of service in a welcoming environment.
Charlie
SENIOR CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Charlie started at Cocoon in June 2011 as a Senior Stylist and quickly worked her way up to Creative Director and L’Oreal Colour Expert. She has always had a real passion for new trends and styles. Charlie has worked in salons from a very young age and has been qualified since 2006. She thrives on competition work and is proud of her achievements. Charlie loves creative work including re-styles, colour changes and barbering, creating the easily maintainable look with a personalised individual edge. Charlie especially enjoys wedding hair and loves feeling that she made an impact on Cocoon’s wedding clients’ ‘Big Day’. Charlie has a diploma in L’Oreal Colour, colour change and contemporary barbering.
Katie
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Drawing on over 13 years experience in hairdressing, Katie started her apprenticeship in her hometown in Germany and quickly progressed into the talent she is today. Katie joined Cocoon as a Style Director in early 2015 after living in England for 4 years. Katie was quickly promoted to Creative Director in early 2016. Katie’s thrives on building strong relationships with her clients, offering a tailor made service each visit and seeing them leave happy. Katie loves all aspects of hairdressing but has a real love for colouring hair and highlighting. Pop in to see Katie as she looks forward to welcoming you.
Vicky
STYLE DIRECTOR AND TRAINING SUPERVISOR
Vicky has been with the salon since 2011. She joined us as an Apprentice and has worked her way up to Style Director level in that time. She took over as in house salon trainer in 2018. Vicky really enjoys training our Apprentices and working closely with Reading College to get them up to the salons high standard. Vicky has attended many hairdressing courses and is currently working towards her level 3 hairdressing qualification. She enjoys all aspects of hairdressing and strives to keep gaining new knowledge and techniques.
KAYLEY
PRINCIPAL STYLIST
Kayley joined our team at Cocoon in the Autumn 2017 as a Senior Stylist she was promoted to Principal Stylist in November 2020. With many years of experience Kayley’s passion is for creative colour and loves the current Balayage trend and experimenting with pastel colours. Kayley is a very popular member of the Cocoon team and has a loyal client base but also loves welcoming new clients to Cocoon.
ELLEN
SENIOR STYLIST
Ellen started with Cocoon in the summer of 2016 working hard to progress in her career and enhance her skill-set. She has a number of years experience in the industry and loves hair up, in particular Wedding up-do’s. Ellen’s main goal is to offer her clients the best possible service and advice; right from the initial consultation through to the aftercare package, and lastly, always look to be creative with whoever is in her chair. Ellen was promoted to Senior Stylist in October 2020.
ASHLIEGH
HEAD THERAPIST
Ashliegh has been working for Cocoon since November 2012, originally from Zimbabwe she qualified as a Beauty Therapist in 2005. She has spent many years working on cruise ships and a busy salon in London perfecting her trade. Ashliegh enjoys a wide range of treatments particularly Aroma Hot Stone Massage and Elemis Facials. She enjoys learning new treatments and since joining Cocoon has achieved an Expert status in Dermalogica.
GOSIA
BEAUTY THERAPIST
Gosia has over 17 years experience in the Beauty Therapy Industry. She graduated from medical school and further education as a Beautician and Spa Therapist. To keep herself up to date she has attended a number of training courses and continues to develop her skill set. Gosia enjoys working with clients and carrying out a wide range of treatments. Her primary aims are high standards of service and complete client satisfaction.
Magda
BEAUTY THERAPIST
Magda joined Cocoon in October 2012 and has enjoyed building a regular client base in this time. She has been a qualified Beauty Therapist for over 12 and a half years and has extensive knowledge in skin care. Magda enjoys doing facials in particular. She prides herself on giving honest, professional advice to her clients and making them feel comfortable. Another treatment Magda enjoys are Eyelash Extensions, especially for brides. She regularly attends training courses and hopes to reach Dermalogica Expert in the near future.
